What We Do
Green Archives is an ambitious project aimed at helping people obtain, understand, and use environmental information. We hope to create an archive of environmental documents, provide education on how to access government documents and also to provide help with understanding the technical jargon that is often inside the documents. Finally, we hope to provide people interested in participating in environmental decision making and other activities with organizations and individuals who share their interests.
Green Archives is a work in progress, and is currently under development.
Who We Are
Professor Sarah Lamdan is an attorney and Associate Law Library Professor at the City University of New York School of Law. Her research focuses on information policy and environmental law, especially issues related to environmental information access. She is currently writing a book about environmental information access and environmental decisionmaking.
Green Archives is a not-for-profit project. Moved by the desire to increase access to and understanding of environmental information, Professor Lamdan formed Green Archives as an experiment in environmental information access. The Green Archives website does not offer legal advice. If you need legal advice, consult with a lawyer.
